In the morning, at the Villa Gingerò, there will be a creative workshop led by Manuel Di Chiara, dedicated to children from 6 to 12 years old. From 10:00 to 13:00 the little participants will be engaged in the decoration of kites, “magical objects” of the story of Capote. The works will be exhibited in the afternoon in a scenographic installation to accompany the theatrical reading.
At 18:00 in the gardens of Villa Arbusto in Lacco Ameno will take place the theatrical reading “A Christmas Memory”, among the most famous stories of Truman Capote. The reading by the association Metamorphosis, directed by Salvatore Ronga, is intended to be a tribute to the figure of Capote, whose centenary is being celebrated this year and whose name, Ronga «is linked to the island of Ischia thanks to a magnificent report, “Local color”, in which the American writer recalls his stay in Ischia in the early fifties».
At Reading will be followed by a tasting of gastronomic products by Forno Romeo di Lacco Ameno.
